Choosing Your Next Extreme Adventure

Extreme sports enthusiasts looking for new places to explore and take their bravado to the limits have many places to choose from that offer a wide variety of extreme activities no matter what the preference is as far as land, sea or air.

One of the many states that offer extreme sports activities is New Jersey offers many water sports at the All Seasons Marina and the Bayview Marina (Atlantic City) with your choice of parasailing, wakeboarding, bumper tubing and water skiing.  The parasailing alone will give you a nice 500ft. view over the water and the shoreline.  If you hop over to Farmingdale, they offer skydiving for those of you who like the higher altitudes.

Many other things New Jersey has to offer if you want your feet on the ground is many hiking trails and one-day trips that can be scheduled throughout the year. There’s even several locations for enthusiasts of paintball, hiking and climbing and many whitewater rafting excursions as well. Some areas just outside of New Jersey in the New York or Pennsylvania area also offer dog sledding and ballooning if that is something you haven’t tried.

Camp Lohikan and Lake Como in Pennsylvania (closer to New York but not far at all from New Jersey) offer an extreme sports youth camp for those summers that kids are looking for something to do. The park includes an ATV area, paintball, in-line skating and skateboarding, whitewater rafting, mountain cycling and many other things to do. The camp starts in late June and goes all through August. The age range for the camp is 6 to 15 and over 65 activities are going on during a daily basis and has been operating since 1957.
