So You Wanna Be In Pictures?

Probably one of the first things any boy and girl get into when they get their new bicycle is to pull off little ramp jumps, do wheelies, try to brake hard enough to shift their weight so the whole bike practically stands on it’s front wheel suspended for a few seconds and whatever else you can think of, we pretty much tried it and probably failed at some point and so on. That didn’t stop us as we got older. Always innovating new ways to destroy our bikes, our bodies or to do something that gets your friends to say “wow”!

One of the first things is finding an ATV or a dirt-bike that fits your frame. If you’re 100lbs soaking wet and 5 ft 2in tall, you wouldn’t ride an 800 or an ATV as big as a battleship either. Any size ATV or bike can severely injure you or kill you. They all can go fast enough. The need for speed isn’t always a necessity.

Your first stunts should always be in dirt. At least if anything happens, the landings are a bit softer. Education and supervision is a must to properly ride and to have someone there in case of an accident. Always do warm-ups, laps and a few practice trials before doing any real stunt. This way the bike/ATV are warmed up and so are you with focus and keeping any jitters from starting. You have to be confident and show no fear of what you are attempting. Most accidents occur when the rider second-guesses at the last minute. Do these few things and a little practice or with a team of professionals, you’ll be well on your way to be an extreme biker in show and competition or a stunt-person who fills in for others in shows and movies. You never know!
